“ My family and I came to see a show at Nyx club. We booked last minute and wasn't disappointed. A night full of jazz with incredible live music. The band were incredible and the two singers were very professional. Service was on point absolutely faultless. We had a three course meal and it was delicious everything turned up hot and again was faultless. There was a great atmosphere in the room. It felt like we was in a London jazz club. Would definitely recommend to anyone that loves live entertainment without having to travel to London. We will be back! ”

“ Went for Sunday dinner, had the lamb with mash potatoes, and it was absolutely beautiful. Melted off the bone. The hallumi and meatballs were also very nice for starters. Unfortunately we were the only ones in the restaurant so the atmosphere was a bit odd, maybe we just booked it for the wrong time and day. We would've liked to smash a plate but as we were the only ones there it felt a bit awkward . ”

“ Visited Yiamas for Sunday lunch. Was warmly welcomed to the table and drinks orders were taken almost immediately. Ordered from the set menu. Food arrived in reasonable time fresh and hot and was very tasty. Staff members serving us were always polite and the waiter was very attentive. “ As a Greek Cypriot I thought I’d give an honest review of our experience at Yiamas. I was skeptical about going due to some of the reviews. Firstly, if you’re looking for a cheap dinner, this isn’t it. However, it was a really enjoyable night and we felt worth the premium price. Starters - cold meze, beautiful dips and olives. Unfortunately the pitta was hard and cold like it had been left for a while, and the halloumi was raw, diced and cold (we expected hot, grilled slabs of halloumi). However we asked for more pita and this was fresh, soft and hot and at no extra cost. Calamari - very nice Prawns - beautiful! Lovely texture and sauce. Octopus - a bit chewy but still edible and the sauce it was in was delicious. Chicken kebab - beautiful, good quality chicken. Really thick and soft, in a lovely sauce. Potatoes and Greek salad were tasty and big enough to share between two of us. 20 for ten plates, yes its not the cheapest but it’s a must to get the full experience and we didn’t mind paying this. Our waiter, Michael, was very attentive, provided excellent customer service. We felt very well looked after (even with being sat at the back table he repeatedly came to check on us and involved us in the dancing). Our coats were booked into the cloak room free of charge and we were seen instantly when we needed to leave. Overall - Great dancers, great atmosphere. The food isn’t as good as the north London Greek restaurants but this is an entertainment venue and it’s definitely not as bad as some of the reviews. I’d definitely return, especially for the fun element! ”
